One of my niche blogs has, i guess, borderline adult content.... Anyways, recently the home page has stopped displaying google ads, while deeper pages continue to show. I setup adbrite ads to show when the Google ones don't and adbrite emailed me to say my content is too adult... I have emailed them back for clarification today... I don't think its any more adult than the underwear section on the Macy's website or whatever... Just in case I went through and fine tuned any words on a few posts to make certain that they didn't seem adult... Is this stuff to adult? Warning, content is homosexual in nature for you who get grossed out easily or whatever Here's a link to my site Is there an adsense alternative that is OK with borderline adult content? I don't want porn ads and have been completely unsuccessful with Black Label porn ads in the past. Is the process automated or is there really a guy somewhere clicking "Reject" for my site? I'm wondering if theres a keyword somewhere throwing the warning to google or whatever Thanks!
its a retarded way of saying help i guess I've just tried the adsense sandbox here http://www.labnol.org/google-adsense-sandbox/ And its agreeing with google that these pages shouldnt return any ads either, however my keywords alone show ad suggestion.. So i'm doing something very wrong with MY SEO apparently.... Could I be over-using my keywords too much?
Ok Back in business... I've re-done a lot of my meta keywords, descriptions, page titles, and page content areas to try and optimize a little better for ads and now my ads are back! HOORAY Previously I had only tried optimizing for Google searches so we'll see how these changes effect my google traffic... Hopefully it wont drop at all. Its hard to optimize for both at the same time! EDIT: Well back more than they were before...
