Has anyone tried marketting their website on Halloween to trick or treaters? My neighborhood gets well over 300 trick or treaters to each house each Halloween! Best of all, my neighborhood only has one entrance road, so a simple poster by the entrance road could market my proxy, instantunblock.com, to a lot of people. Then again, I think I might only be reaching little kids. But adults often trick or treat with their kids and have workplaces, too. Has anyone used Halloween marketting before?
Im not sure what additional benefit a roadside sign would have on Halloween. Surely 300 people drive by there during other 24 hour periods. I don't think kids looking for candy in the dark would respond better then those driving by on other days. Also, unless you have a permit or planning permission (whatever is required in your city/state) you may also face a fine, etc
Offline marketing can work very well but only when done property, I honestly dont think that putting stickers in your car or signs will work.
