Teen sites are a no-no with YPN.
Use yahoo on myspace type sites and you will
get banned. It just takes time before they notice the problem.

Looking at my stat trackers I had 96% US Traffic over the past year on all my sites. I don't think it was because of that.

Yahoo uses the "beta" term a lot for things so watch out for that. Know that no site is really safe with yahoo. If you're users just click on the ads and they don't signup/purchase anything you will get the boot. I would avoid well intergrated ads because the user might click on the ads thinking it's part of your site and then no buy anything on the next page lol. Who knows what to do with yahoo and what not to do. 3 weeks ago I emailed them asking if all my sites were good to go and everything was up to date and they said yes everything is fine. Then they give me the boot out of no where. Enjoy it while it's there because adsense is a steep drop.

The funny thing is though these were the sites they approved into their program. It's not like I had some spectacular stock site that got in then decided to place the ads on teen sites. They approved of my sites back when I applied

i've heard that correlation alot over these last few months. "i called them - they said everything was good - then i get the boot".

i can only speculate. but i wonder if there is a relation between you calling them, your account getting pulled up and the termination which followed.

My thoughts exactly. How do these PPC networks expect you to get only visitors that buy stuff once they click a link? It's ridiculous.

Yahoo search marketing has lost a lot of ground to google's adwords so Yahoo needs to keep as many advertisers as possible in the overture adverti6sing program program. Currently yahoo has too many publishers and not enough advertisers so they are removing publishers who don't convert well for advertisers so that advertisers don't leave Yahoo.

A warning would be nice if your traffic is not making enough 'conversions' so you can do something without getting booted. I dunno fat chance that.

Yeah it could be....I actually forgot I contacted them to make sure everything was okay but the guy said they have it on record. I'm not sure if when I asked they really looked into it or not but if that was the case that's really lame. I was just making sure everything was okay with my sites and if not what I could do to correct it. Even if they told me what sites wern't converting and I could remove the ads from those sites that would have been fine.

I heard ppl getting booted after they called/emailed ypn for other reasons. maybe pulling your account triggers auto audit :(

I had some issues with them and talked to different reps in the past. I hope they didn't mark my account for deletion.

i have another question for you dave. i thought you said, not too long ago, you were moving most of your sites off of ypn because of problems / drops. too lazy to go find your post on that topic. had you moved your sites back to ypn or was this termination with the remaining sites you had on ypn? i ask, because i wonder if (as someone has mentioned) that the "low quality traffic / conversion" was a balance of all sites on the account and that maybe perhaps if you removed your better "converting" pages from ypn that possibly this "low conversion" site(s) tipped the scales, causing ypn to ban.

Well I did change my sites back to adsense a couple months ago but due to poor payouts I decided ypn would be best. I think I only used adsense for a week then I switched all my sites back to ypn.
