so can anyone offer tracking advice, or are we talking about the typical nslookup and traceroutes to find the offending ip?
Would be on the other page, seems like as often as this comes up I should keep these links in my signature. http://clickaider.com/ http://www.jimwestergren.com/protect...dsense-clicks/
If you have a forum getting click-bombed, do you the functionality to turn off certain boards to "guests"? Or, just not allow any guests to view your forum pages.
lol @ 9 impressions 123 clicks - too obvious of an attack anyway, the guy wasn't very smart i guess i had a similar issue a few months back - had nearly 80% CTR on my arcade with like 300 clicks, usual ctr is around 1% - 10% - i did report it to google but i still got paid lol, now im actually starting to believe that it was real
I found out for certain which member is click bombing me: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=610214
that is so bad , What i Hate abut google is being helpless any 1 with internet access can do harm to me ( banning my adsense account )
I know on my forum (phpbb) I can search by IP number....maybe give the IP to the mods and have him ousted here? Just a thought.....
Good to hear that the account is safe. Hopefully something is done about clickbombing in the future as it hurts both the publisher and the advertiser.
Maybe this is also what happened to Col (aka Cheap SEO Services)? Haha, for sure Google would say that you've been clickbombed, it would be dumb for them to say that you clicked your own ads for <insert frequency here> of times. The clickbomber should do it carefully and surely next time, if I was her, I would not click a lot of times to get someone banned since it's very obvious, lol. Nice CTR Union.
Glad your site did not mess up and that you were not banned from Google. I think he was trying to get you banned from google.
