I live in an independent living facility now. I went down for the cooked breakfasts that are there every morning. Today is Valentines Day. I went to sit down at my seat and saw that there was a chocolate rose for me, as well as everyone else. My royal landlady, Monika may have a cool policy of handing out treats at these strange little holidays, such as Valentines and possibly St. Patricks' Day and so forth. I wonder wth she will have for Easter now, now that I come to think of that. Could be lavish, as I never celebrated these, even mildly, at my old apartment. Easter back then was just sleeping in back then. I could NOT get over for many minutes that there was a Chocolate Rose for Valentines. I was shocked. I didn't think that effort was put into these small holidays here.
