maybe it was public service ad or it was worth less than a 1 cent.

Some clicks are actually worthless, the same way some clicks are worth a couple of dollars. You shouldn't worry about it even if it is a rare occurrence.

I occasionally get some of those too... but nothing to really worry much about. Sometimes on other occasions I see there may be .01 cents for no clicks at all... merely impressions I guess...

I guess adsense will show you once you have earned a reasonable amount...

I think they also do not pay for clicks if site does not load fully. Public service ad sounds like what happened.

It should be an invalid click.

Public ads or invalid click. Either way, it doesn't matter as long as it doesn't happen often.

    Den 82,

I actually just recently stumbled upon an article talking about CPC (Cost Per Click) for Adsense; if you're new, you definitely wouldn't know anything about this. I've always wondered why I only made $.02 per click some days, while others I could make $2 to $5 PER CLICK. It could be why you didn't make any money either :(.

It's pretty easy to figure out the CPC for your keywords; you can follow these simple instructions at http://mlmoutsidethebox.com/google-ad-keyword-tool/

I put this on my site a few weeks ago, and already I've averaged more in the last two weeks than in the last two months. It was so easy!

Obviously it also matters how much traffic is coming to your site... But if you've got a steady audience, it should be pretty simple.

I really hope this helps... It helped me out a lot. Feel free to message me or e-mail me back at !

there are some reason behind it, maybe this click is fraud or just like others had said, it is not worth for cent.

Sometimes invalid clicks happen public service ads may also be the reason.

Sometimes google doesnot pay for the clicks if clicker originates from any email client also. I have noproof but it happens sometimes with me. especially with gmail
