I run a couple of software affiliate websites that do sales in the $100 per day range. I want to increase my sales and I was wondering about this Hacker Safe shindig. Do any affiliates use this? I do not sell products from my site, but I do offer downloads of the software products. I'm wondering if displaying the hacker safe logo would help my rates of download and the trust level there. Any comments?
only one way to find out for sure right? try it out if you think about it, the average computer user is, for lack of a better term, noob. seeing something that gaurentees they are safe (ie HACKER SAFE) might be enough for them to suddenly feel secure and willing to download.
Hmmmmmm....good point....but it is also safe to say some hackers put the logo on their site to trick users...
The thing is the Hacker Safe thing is a bit overpriced. It might not be overpriced if it provides the benefit they say it does. If it even brought me one extra sale per two days then it would be well, well worth it. However to test out it's a bit expensive because of their pricing structure.
