Hacked Website Survey

I am curious as to the distribution of of "hacked" websites in relation to the operating system being used and the web server being used. This is certainly not scientific, but it may help people to pay closer attention to the security issues on the systems they use.

I don't think the "operating system" or "web server" are at fault with the majority of the hacked websites you hear about. Most defacements are done these days by script kiddies who copy and paste code to attack vulnerabilities in the scripts webmasters use AND then these lamers think they are real l44t h4ck0rs and brag about themself on zone-h.

 

I hear you. But, does the rest of the world? How often do we see threads dissing a specific server/OS combination as being inherently insecure. I thought it would be interesting to see what is the experience for the DP community.

 

i Was never hacked before and dont want to have any experience in Future ....
