HACKED! Ever seen this?

I have a clients site that got hacked. Has anyone ever before?

 

I saw when windowsupdate.microsoft.com was defaced with the nimda/code red worm lol

Wow, at least the hacker saved the index page for your client???

I thought hackers would just delete everything like crazy.

 

Yeah.. I guess this will also serve as a lesson to make sure that securities are always up.

yea, this is the first site I have ever worked on that has been hacked. I am just making updates to the existing site. Luckly the security issues were not my doing. As mentioned, I am also glad they did not do anything malicious.

 

btw lots of hackers lurking around in DP

 

never seen that but that is probably a scary site to see if you are running some websites. To log onto your site and check everything out to see that...wow

 

Just an index.php file changed. probably needs it to be replaced every folder recursively.
Yep Have seen site(server) getting hacked recently.

 

looks so similar..

one of my friends poor guy his site was hacked and the hackers even agreed to restore the site provided my friend gave them 100$ lol...

my friend refused coz already he wasnt getting much out of his site...after paying for all server costs etc..

but he was careless in webdesiginign especially SSI type pages including php out to be secured...for vB ajax is quite something i guess..
