    I've seen another group of Turk hackers go after PHP sites:
    Hacked by Cha T Lak || Me ga Tu rks Turk Stor m

    They try to install a script which lets them send mass emails all over the place after they hack your home page.

    What are the bugs used by Turkish Hackers to hack the site ?
    Are they hacking the server or just the sites with some bugs

    I would not call hackers to the clowns that claim to hack a forum or website.

    they are just lame teenagers trying to make themselves called hackers, they dont even have a clue about hacking since they use already made script kiddies floating arround on the net and claim to be their won work.
    heck, most of them can not even write any coding at all, nor have the coding language experience.

    Most of the time a real hacker doesnt even let you know that your site has been compromised, they just use your server or account for their own purposes or benefits and keep on using them with out you noticing you are hacked, most of them use it to spam email from your server, and many times they dont even use all resources of your server, they use it moderate so you wont notice it, so they can keep on using your server for loooong time, heck they can even be sitting passively on your server for months or years and use your server as they please.

    So in other words those so called hackers are not more then lame teenagers that cant get past thru outdated forum software exploiting.

    My site has been hacked

    www.gas-safety-checks-london.co.uk

    Who is to blame for this? Can someone take a look and see how easy it would be to hack this and how poor the security was?

    I have had problems with my developers. They took nearly 7 months to get that site done and kept on having technical issues.

    Please please someone help me.

    also how easy would it be to fix the problem and update security, what would need to be done? The website company I used contracted the work out to people in India and unfortunately they turned out to be a nightmare to deal with. I have had a terrible experience. I have emailed them already and asked for my money back politely or I will take them to court. I have already had another similar site set up for this kind of scenario.

    Two days ago my aunty's wordpress photo blog was attacked by a Turkish hacker. And if I searched the guys name hundreds of other sites came up. On the "Haxored" page there was a link to a Turkish hacking forum where they devote their lives to destroying other sites... (I think because it was all in Turkish :p)

    It seems that they are out in force scanning for bugs in open source projects and then crawling the internet until they find <meta "generator" content="Wordpress 2.x.x" and then strike.

    Its highly annoying

    Thats just nuts .. I notice a few sites like whm autopilots site got hacked by a Turkish hacker .. but it's back .. We had Turkish hack attempt on gaming site found out who he was with in a few minutes .. they seem like take notice on there hacks as if it's trophy type of thing for them
