Well, I'm living in China and as of today my school is quarantined for H1N1 for at least 3 days.

Anyway, I'll carry around all my docs, I think I should be able ot get in and out without too much trouble, but we'll see. Sadly for the 30,000 or so students, they'll be locked in.

Your school has around 30,000 students?

You mean to say the students will stay at school for 3 days? How will they manage everything like food and other stuff or has it been already taken care of by school authorities?

I hope everyone is safe. :)

    I'm pretty sure it's a University lol

That scares the ever loving crap out of me thinking about quarantines in the US

Chinese schools have a lot of students, interestingly enough, my home town in Australia also has 30,000 people. The University has 3x 4 story dining halls plus a few small restaurants, the buildings that are fully quarantined are being sent food packages. There's also a few supermarkets in there too.

It is a university, which I consider to be a type of school.
    For interests skake
    大学 (university) da xue
    学校 (school) xue xiao
    大 (big) da
    å¦ (study) xue

Fortunately for me, I have a pass that I can get in and out of the quarantined area, thank god they think I'm important.

I write it in twitter. Read the book Sky Lords, it is related to this situation and it is a lot of fun. From some point of view.
    H1N1 became popular topic again.

matty, what are they doing to the kids in there that are on lockdown, that just doesn't seem right, sounds like prison or something. are they jabbing them with the vax? On the internet you can search for the ingredients to the vax and they don't sound 2 good, or google "76 swine flu propaganda" or the crippling affects of that.

unfortunately on youtube you can find that this year's flu shot has been crippling for some already. It's left some with neurological problems.

I know it's been a while, but felt like posting an update.
I actually got H1N1 and was put under quarantine in the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
I was there for a week getting 2 hours of drips everyday, glucose and vitamin c.

It was boring, so I decided to install Windows 7 on my laptop since I had my dvd with me. That became a failure since it had no drivers and I had no internet. Had to try and get scraps of an old ghost file back just to get myself able to watch a dvd again.

Anyway, an interesting and boring experience to remember.

At least I don't need the vaccination now since I'm immune.
In the end H1N1 just isn't that bad... When I first got it, didn't even realise what it was, I thought it was a normal cold.
