ug...well the problem with that would be what would be my "keywords" (aside from within the meta tags) are the alt text within my sites banner/logo and i'm asuming i can't use an image or it's alt tag as an H tag lolol
i'm trying to get my site to be more bot friendly...i went to some site that checked my site over it basically was a bot simulator and it came back with that I had no H1 tags....on my site I really don't have anywhere to place an h1 tag except for around an image (my sites logo) or within the meta tags my main page there's really no text except for paid ads....it's all images/buttons so i guess my question is could an h1 tag go around an image or within the meta tags around the keywords tag?
I'm sorry -- I cannot give you any further suggestions. After looking at your site, my advice would be to re-think your site's purpose and build another around a more focused theme -- perhaps something you're knowledgable, or passionate about. "The Hang Out" just doesn't cut the mustard and I'm afraid you're whipping a dead horse.
lol thanks...yeah the site itself was an after thought...my main focus was the forum....but thank you for trying anyways
Please know that my intention was not to criticize you personally; only to inform you that your positioning efforts could be more productive (and profitable) if you were to pursue some sort of niche that you could compete in more easily. Also, whatever industry you might target, you would do well to learn more about first impressions, site usability and conversions -- which are all equally important as search engine positions. Good luck to you.
Shadav - It looks easy enough to fix, toss in a block of text - take out that logoish looking thing or put it in a table of 2 colums and in the other column write something about the forum and the community, use a h1 for the heading of your text with your target keyword and then write a paragraph to help people know what your site is about.
