Okay, I have always thought that Wordpress is perfectly optimized for on-page SEO. However, today I learned that single post page titles aren't automatically between h1 tags. They are between h2 tags. As the h1 tag is one of the most important thing in on-page SEO, how do I set my single post page titles to go automatically between h1 tags?
Most of the HTML generated in WordPress depends on the theme currently being used. In order to change your Single Post Page's titles from H2 to H1 you will have to edit the single.php file of the current active theme.
There is no point raising fingers towards "Wordpress", Wordpress is the framework. It's rather the themes you should be looking at, Themes are not from wordpress, "developerpanda" already has pointed out.

Do yourself a favor and practice good SEO instead of relying on hiding keywords to improve rankings. Doing it right has no penalty.
