    Hey all.

I am wondering if there is any difference between assigning font-size X and font-size Y to the importance of the H1 as search engine see my page.

    What do you think ?

    Guy.

personally, i don't think it does. Although i've read of reports that bolding does affect. Never heard of font sizes affecting as it really depends on the layout and design of your site and it wld seem unfair to demand a certain size for all sites.

Search Engines try to think as a surfer, therefor if something is a heading (h1 or something else) than it should become more important.

Because we have H1 tag it doesn't mean that the surfer will see a differece between heading and normal text.

You right, but maybe it has something to do with the other font-sizes of the other text in the body part of the document.

    Don't you think so ?

Think about it - lets say that I have h1 smaller than a normal text.... what than ?

Pretty sure it gives importance to h1-3, but I'm not sure about the font tag, nor the css for font-size. Bold definitely gives importance as well like mentioned above.
