In wordpress when you enter a new post, use your keyword in the title, and then add h2 and h3 tags within the article you post. For example, let's say your blog is about dog training and your primary keyword is 'dog training'. You use that in your title like: The best dog training methods for poodles. Then within your article post, select points to 'break' the paragraphs and make them into sections of your article by adding in a 'subheader'. These would be the bolder text lines that break up the paragraphs within the article. Wordpress actually has a menu selection for h2 and h3 tags called 'header 2' and 'header 3' within the menu above in the tools. It's default is 'paragraph'. So if you wish to place your h2 tag below the first block of text, you might say something like. 'Don't make dog training harder than it has to be'. You would highlight this line and select 'header 2' in the menu. Congrats, you've just inserted your h2 tag. Now do the same for your h3. Put a subhead line of text using 'dog training' within the sentence, highlight it and select h3 from the menu. Now you will have your keyword in three places of importance for the search engines to see. Don't forget, also use your keyword throughout your article as well. As my rule of thumb, I try to use my keyword about every 150 to 200 words. Hope this makes sense to you and you find it helpful onlinepolar. Good luck.
