Your affiliate section is awesome, it looks just like your sales page. You release this product, about 2 weeks after news comes out that the parent company of FV is taking these vendors to court, What say you.................

Also I think its important to say, I wish vendors would come to these forums after they have tested their own product, post stats, what their OWN experience is etc. I mean I love being a ginny pig........

Vendors have alot more to gain by saying, here is my experience with my product, here is what I did, and here are the stats.

Actually he's right.
not much competition there , especially on clickbank.
since ZINGA SUED MOST OF CLICKBANK'S FARMVILL VENDORS RECENTLY and they are closing their websites.
To come out now with a new farmvill guide product days after zynga initiated a major lawsuit against
exactly these kind of products requires a set of tyrannosaurus balls and i salute the vendor for showing so much spine and dive into this legal blunder without looking back.
(i wouldn't dare promote this as an affiliate though).

I think its nothing to do with having the balls to do it.. I think its more a case of not knowing about it. At least he has avoided using their logo and name in his domain and product name etc

 

I do know their lawsuit against tony sanders. And I have studied the whole thingy.

The competition is not really tight if you are considering the gonna-be-closed sites.

Also, I am not using their logo or name. IF you examine the sites which were sued, they all had videos in their product, they sold the video along with the product in a zip package or so. But, what I did was that I hosted the video in the server and put a password and username for accessing it in the ebook. According to their TOS, I think this is fine.

Also Farmville is the name of a city in U.S .

Anyways, I am not going to persuade you to be my affiliate.

Just a heads-up. While I'd either be an affiliate or even purchase the guide, Zynga does not believe in having guides for their games. This is why SocialCity's only guide site got shut down yesterday. (I've asked about the exact reason, as I play some of the games and I am curious, but I figure the reason is because they are free games.)

So while I have no connection to Zynga or any companies owning any games on Facebook, my money says in about 3 days you'll receive a cease and desist order in your inbox. Unfortunate, yes, but having seen all these shutdowns recently, even if not in three days, it certainly will happen. This is why affiliates are staying away. I don't think you can easily convince us that your product will be one to promote.

I should ask why guide sites are banned and their exact position on them...

Still the graphic you're using on your site will be considered as copyright infringement as well as it is used for commercial sites.

though im not sure you understand in full what you are doing i can tell you that your
"arguments" won't last 5 miliseconds in reality.
if you are going to promote this site anyway with these arguments as your legal shield
then you are even braver then i originally thought
though there is a very fine line between bravery and complete ignorance.

 

My translation of that statement: "If you are going to promote a product type whose competitors got shut down already, then you are crossing the line between ignorant and stupid."

Oh, about farmvillesecrets.com still being up? Either he made a deal with them (smart!) or he just hasn't been caught yet. Those are two possible scenarios.

If platinum partner which i call "the masters of scam" are running away with their tail between their legs
then you should really think again regarding your next moves.


I really do understand that you worked hard to create this and you have my sympathy vote for bad timing,
but sometimes you need to know when to quit and shut down before the damage is greater then the good.
