Any one with real experience in SEO and SERP using sites builds over GWT? I'm needing this and ideas about how to optimise GWT applications for SEO and SERP. consulting firms/people are welcome too to offer services, but please PM in that case. thanks.
Hello, That is a good question. I would personally say that I would put a link to the application on a webpage, then promote that webpage using SEO. If I am not mistaken I believe this is how firefox add-ons work with SEO. Thanks, Nick
entire site based on gwt? not a good idea.. ull be left with a basic empty page with a link to js.. and u know google wudnt really care about that at all.. i think people with gwt often forget that its more of an application system then a website per say.. and at the moment as far as i know.. google isnt going to do anything to its algorithm to start reading js , ajax or such so it will be really hard for you or any professional with years of seo experience to actually manage a complete gwt based page.. do u know what i mean?
thanks to both of you, and dear @hassan_ali, yes you are perfectly right, I'd taken the leadership of this project recently and is a real good application, but technical people did exactly what you said. Now I puted in practice some basic guidelines for example, 1) I embeded the login page in a html page so you first login and after that go into the "gwt" application. 2) I created some directories with static information so SEs been able to index it 3) I make some rewrites with the url most important for work in SEO and SERP with that... and... no more, I dont know if we have another options... thanks!
