This type of story pops up every election cycle. I remember in 2004 they were talking about how Kerry and Bush were related and how they were both related to European kings and queens going all the way back to Charlemagne. We're talking about 9th and 10th cousins here. Do you realize how many 10th cousins you have? Literally millions. If the average person traced their family tree to their 10th cousins they would find that they are related to all sorts of famous and powerful people.
