Get one of the chairs... they look silly, but they are so comfortable...

Are you wearing old and faulty shoes ? If yes buy new pair of shoes which are comfortable to you.
You can check website like Back Pain Relief to get some idea on how to reduce back pain .

You can also look into wearing a back brace that will offer support to your lower back

I recommend you go to your doctor and tell him exactly this.

Go to the hospital and check your body.
Do exercises when you are in spare time.

Use a revolving chair like this and there won't be any problem. I use it. :D

You can try visiting a Chiropractor for your back pain. I feel like brand new after every visit. Might not hurt to get an X-ray to rule out anything serious. You may want to also check your posture while sitting & try stretching every few hours.

I had chronic neck pain, and some back pain. Here's what I did:

    - Got an exercise ball to sit on instead of a regular chair to improve posture. (might not be good for you as it will work your back muscles in the beginning)
    - Got a new mattress.
    - Got a sit / stand electrical height adjustable table so that I can switch between a sitting and standing position.
    - Take regular breaks.
    - Exercise more.

The sit stand table has gotten me the most results, I am pain free at the moment.

Run 3 miles every day and do some stretching. It works for me. Hope it would also work for you in obliterating your back pain forever.

I use a hard pillow to support my back while I am working.

I sit on front on my pc for 10-12 hours/day, but I have never experienced any back pain.

when I have to sit on any other chair (without a proper back support), I start feeling tired after 2-3 hours.

the problem with most chairs is that they don't support the entire back, but just a part of it.

try using a chair and pillow that support your entire back...right up to your shoulders.

if that doesn't work, consult a doctor..:).
