Some fonts are way better than others for electronic documents, especially for those of us who have eye problems, wear corrective lenses or spend a great deal of time on the computer.

So what in your opinion is the best type of font, its size to be used for the textual contents of an eBook in pdf format and why?

    Arial
    Book Antiqua
    Bookman Old Style
    Courier New
    Garamond
    Georgia
    Tahoma
    Times New Roman
    Trebuchet
    Verdana

    Take the poll too.

I'd say Time New Roman.. it is simple and easy to read
Other fonts mentioned there would look weird for a eBook

I hate times new roman, its like a font that year 7s use to write their homework on the computer, times new roman size 16 so it looks like theres more than there actually is, i just did double line spacing, much better. Anyway I cant stand reading stuff in times new roman, so arial all the way. Verdana is best for webpages

Times is a good choice for printed documents, but Verdana was specifically designed for on screen readability.

One big difference between Arial and Verdana is that with Arial there is no visual difference between "I", "l" & "1"; while there is a visual difference between these characters with Verdana. The lack of difference between these characters with Arial can cause confusion.
