Guy with fake PR8 displaying co-op ads

I don't think the co-op validator will award this site the weight of a genuine PR8 site.... but if it is, this would be a very bad case of cheating the system.

 

No, this has come up before and they don't actually get credit for a fake PR.

 

How do you tell if it is a fake? I just did the link: command in google and it returned 84,400 links

Indeed yfs1 is correct. The PR doesn't belong to this page. You can check this and any other doubts you have here .

There are many tools out there that perform similarly but I have personally found this one to be bang on every time.

There's also another quick way to see if pr is hijacked by taking a look at the cache of the pages: for instance: http://72.14.207.104/search?hl=en&q=cache:http://www.my.tusmoviles.net/&btnG=Google+Search Now you see the actual page.. the yahoo page as mentioned above.

Yes it does (according to previous instances)...Shawn has always said that they don't get credit so its just a big waste of their time.
