I'm listening to this story on the radio now. This guy gets his bike stolen. (It's a 12 year old bike) He contacts police but nothing gets done. So his friends decide to check craigslist and finds the exact description of his bike. So he poses with his friend as a girlfriend. . . and has his other friends wait in a car close by to call the police if they give them the signal. He then says,"This is a nice bike" and his friend scratches her head. The other friends in the car call the police and within 4 minutes they get his bike. The bad guy got caught. . .and he's charged with selling stolen property. Skinny
Ya I read another story on the net where this person had a fight with her sister who's house she was staying in so she posted on craigslist that anyone could come into the house and take anything. The house was wiped clean by people who took everything not knowing that this was not put up by the owner of the house. Skinny
Actually if you check out craigslist, there are many good stories posted on there This is a pretty good one too
Well, usually such kinds of co-incidents are read in some novels, but in practical life it's kinda strange, isn't it?
In England. I radio host told a porn star he would love to sleep with her, and didnt care that his wife was listening on the radio. His wife sold his 20,000 GBP car for like 20 quid BIN on ebay. We found out later it was all a publicity stunt.
I dont get it, how was he sure it was HIS bike? There is such a thing as more then one type of bike being made....
Well it was a 12 year old bike (not a boy) so it would have had distinctive features. He also had the serial number with him and still on the bike that proved it was his. Skinny
