guy is advertising text links for sale on sites that I own/sell links on. He's giving out the URLs. I want him to stop but have no way of knowing who it is so I can't sell links to them anymore. the whois gives me his name of Andreas Armbruster who's email is . Any advice?

why not just stop him advertising on your site? Is he actually in breach of your contract from when you sold him (or his agent) the space?

you're confused. He has his own site that is advertising the text links that I sell. I have not authorized him to do this. I do not want him advertising what links I sell.

So if I understand, you are selling links on certain sites of yours. This guy, on his site, is providing a listing of links for sale, and includes yours. But he is not claiming to sell those links, just letting people know that you are selling links on those sites. If that is correct...

** you say he is "advertising" your links. I don't really know what that means. Is he offering them to people, pretending to be you? Or is he just listing your sites and letting people know that you sell links?

I don't think there is anything you can do to stop that. He is free to write about it. You can't stop someone from talking about you (or your business) as long as he is not slandering or defaming you.

Why is he doing it? What does he get out of it? You should just write to him and ask him not to list them. But he doesn't have to, so be nice about it.

You got it mostly right Browntown. The reason I have a problem is I don't want to put the urls of my sites out in the open. That is what this dude is doing. Another problem is this guy's page is in german. Guess I'll just write him and hope he plays along.

in an unrelated note: Ding. I hit 100.
