It is really spirit breaking for decent forum member, who by default had wait, with reading for days before his first post in buy-sell part, to find out that he must wait another half month. Add to that if he is in a hurry, like most business demands, so he didn’t sleep enough and hurt his eyes and brain by rapidly reading to keep up. He registered before posting, not before reading. Spirit is unbreakable, but the feeling is very interesting. Story might be interesting, is there something practical in this post? Well, I have possible solution. Require registration for reading subforums/threads that have time-lock on it. Luckily for me, I know man can choose when to get angry, and should he be sad. ______________________________ Please excuse my bad English.
It's not a terrible idea but the reason that it is the way it is is so that people have to make a contribution to the forum before being given the priviledge to posts in the buy/sell/trade. It also stops spammers.
I was talking about this. taken from here: forums.digitalpoint.com/faq.php?faq=dp_faq#faq_posting_guidelines But now I have seen some posts without those requirements; I wrote (and deleted) test post, and there was no automatic hinderance. (I don't qualify too, of course) Is this rule obsolete, or some moderator will kick all those posts out?? Thanks
It is OK. Just post a bit and then eventually you'll be able to post in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum. You shouldn't have registered here JUST to sell stuff anyway!
