    well chosen..but the way the template is placed is kinda misplaced.. you should have a more focused template on one topic....but other than that

    The header seems big please decrease the height of the same as well as below footer there's lot of blank space which you can remove.
    The font colors are itchin in my eyes you can try some bright colors like maroon will do

    What you really need:
    1) More contrast
    2) Smaller header (in height)
    3) Make image links look obviously click able (like the "blog" link)
    4) Fill the emptiness.
