Lol - well are you actually interested in taking it up though? No point unless you have self-motivation!
I learnt to play when at school. A long time ago now. You never really forget, but your fingers get old and stiff. I agree with Minstrel, there's no substitute for practice.
Practice, Practice, Practice, Listen to all styles of music and try to play them... After you learn something try another way of doing it (learn all the positions for the same chord & learn to change between them as quickly as you can), learn to improvise, learn to create... Get your own sound that you like and don't copy someone elses (Make it yours!)... Then maybe I'll let ya borrow a guitar or two from my personal collection... hehe

I don't really know what you mean by a coupon for guitar pro but this site has a lot of guitar pro tabs: http://www.igdb.co.uk/pages/guitar_tabs.htm
I say just practice music that you like and have fun. Here is a pic of my Graffiti Yellow Tom Delonge Fender Stratocaster and my Marshall Micro Stack (great practice amp). I prefer rock/punk as you can tell. I also just got a Gibson Standard Ebony SG this week so pics later.
