Hey guys, before you nail me if this is the wrong board, please hear me out when I say this seemed like the most appropriate at the time xD I have two things, 1) just to get a general discussion on the game out and 2) seeing if any of you might want to be part of our own little clan/community/etc So, I'm looking to see if any of you joined in on the midnight launch last night Me and a couple friends have been in beta, tried the stress test, and have a pretty solid handle on the game mechanics. What are your takes on the game? I love the improvements since Guild Wars (I tried all the expansions including GWEN), and I think it's pretty solid up to now. For now, I'm focusing on farming though, and the most I've tried out is Human. ========================================================== On a side note, my little group of friends and I have recently made ourselves a little website dedicated to getting our own word out there about Guild Wars 2 and our personal strategy guides. You can find us at www.gw2strategyguide.com; We don't have content yet since the game just launched, but we hope to put videos and articles up in the upcoming week. The site is funded by our own pockets (we were lucky such a top level domain was open to us), and we're hesitant about marketing and all. Our mission really is to give FREE information to gamers about strategy, guides, farming, pvp, etc. without having to buy expensive guides pushed by marketers who hired article spinners to rip of existing content. We are a team of five gamers so far, and we look to push our own content about the game, and we're looking for more to join our community. This isn't an article writing job, this is more of a search for fellow video game hobbyists who love metagaming and gamecrafting for the sake of having fun. If you might be interested in joining us, we're looking to expand our writing team, expand our website, and build our own guild and community (with upcoming forum). Keep in mind again, this isn't a job, nor is it paid (we go by the virtue of doing what you love first and hoping money would come later).
