Guide to going number one for a micro niche

    Ok I am trying desperately to get my micro niche site number one its been a month and I'm not even on first page for less than 100k pages, please can you help. is this correct so far? my guide? Ideal for couple 100k pages of competition or less.
    1. Do keyword research
    2. Build keyword rich domain
    3. Add unique keyword rich content to site
    4. Seo site with keyword titles, h1 keyword, keyword density, keyword bold etc
    5. Initial site complete
    6. Build backlinks to your site
    7. submit your new site to social sites and bookmark sites such as digg, reddit etc
    8. write a related article to your site and leave a link to your site.
    9. submit article link to bookmark sites, facebook etc
    10. Add content to site and submit an article every so often
    11. submit any new content pages or articles to book mark sites and social sites.

    Great list! I would also recommend being active on forums and Yahoo Answers!, Squidoo and just focusing on creating strong profiles out there because web2.0 is all about the social power.

    100k searches is actually a lot, depending on what those other people are doing to rank their websites for your micro niche. I'd recommend analyzing your competition and see what they're doing to rank for first page.
