Hello. I have written a quick guide with 3 well explained and easy tips to greatly boost your CTR. Here is a sample: View the full article here: Guide to a Higher AdSense CTR Calum Neilson
Yeah, its not aimed at AdSense pro's, I know there are more advanced tips and stuff but could be good for new people with standard adsense unblended ads in bad positions.
Where is the tip for tracking non adsense showing people and using a replacement advertisement for them? Do you have a tip on there of using the alternative ad's feature that google allows people to use instead of PSA? You should post to this forum more advanced tips and tricks. Blending will only take you so far. You have to come up with something that will alter the colors every once in a while to make it where the users are not so color blind. Plus, blending can cause them to ignore the advertisements, you do sort of want to show them they are there at least.
Thanks for the tips. The guide was meant to be aimed at adsense newbies mainly, I will be writing a more advanced one for more advanced adsense users later with all of that in it, so thanks for the tips
Nice article maybe you can include some images within the blog post of good examples of Adsense based sites instead of just links. I always like visual examples!
Nice tips, but as others mentioned they are pretty basic. You need to spice it up to make it more interesting.
Thanks everyone for comments, glad you liked it I will probably try and refine the article tomorow, add images (thanks junosama for suggestion), format it better and edit spelling. I am also going to write a more advanced article for advanced users in a week or two, I will post here when I have. Thanks everyone.
nice guide, i hope i did imply on this blog (http://happy-funtime.blogspot.com). HOw is the blending ?
The blending is great. The only thing is placement. If I were you I would keep the block on the left where it is but move the one in the middle above the first post to below the first post. This would make it in between the first and second posts, right in the middle of the content. How nice of you...
Thanks, as said before it's aimed at newbies. I am writing a more advanced guide now, is there anything specific that you would like me to include?
