Hi Guys/Girls - I'm new to the affiliate scene and need a few pointers.

I've been selling my product directly from my website for over a year now and posting CD's all over the place - then it hit me - I should be allowing instant digital downloads rather than posting physical items.

So I digitize the product and create a website linked to Clickbank but how do I "tap" into those thousands of affiliates Clickbank so proudly promotes to vendors?

My product is tried and tested but not as a digital download.
I'm offering good commission at 50% ($22 per sale) and affiliate resources but nowt seems to be happening?

What needs to be done to match my product to affiliates?

Its aimed at golfers and brings sport psychology to the club player and amatuer. With 26 million golfers in the USA and over 56 million worldwide, most of whom want to improve their game - there is a market to be tapped.
    But how to find affiliates?????????????????

Thanks for your help! (and sorry the links dont work yet - my 1st post!)

    Regards

    Brian

There are lots of golf products on clickbank which means that you have to convince the affiliates out there that your product can make them as much, if not more, than those they are already promoting.

The problem with new products on clickbank is that they have no gravity and many affiliates, such as myself, really don't bother with a product unless it has been proven to sell (i.e. with some sort of gravity behind it). To combat this you need to try and contact the affiliates directly. If you can find sites that are promoting other golf clickbank products then why not get in touch with them and tell them about your product and how much they could earn with it. Also, I haven't looked your product up but I'd suggest you give affiliates 70% of the sale to motivate them more.

It's a manual game for you really, at least at first. Once your product starts climbing up the gravity stakes it will attract more and more affiliate naturally so you've got to be in it for the long run.

Gravity is not all that counts - everyone starts somewhere ... if your product is good, you will attract good affiliates too.
Have you thought of joining forums where golfer mix?
