Guestimate this for me...

I have the opportunity to possibly purchase a website;

PR6, appx 300K range on Alexa, been around for a while, indexed in all engines...
No revenue info...

On that basis alone, what do you think the value is?

 

You can't (and shouldn't) value a site based on that info.

If that's all I had to go I would say $1

 

PR and Alexa can be manipulated, but it sounds like something worth checking out. How many backlinks and what quality are they?

 

Ignore the alexa and PR. Look at the traffic, backlinks, costs and potential for revenue.

Exactly! One of my friends has a website which receives 10-15x less visitors than my website, but his Alexa Rank is much better. Easy to fake as 1-2-3

 

With that many links and indexed pages we can probably assume the PR6 is real.

All revenue data aside, you can make ok cash selling PR6 links if the site is suitable for a general audience, and the co-op/link vault weight should be pretty good.

I can't imagine it generating less than $150 /month minimum. If the traffic is good then a combination of AdSense and affiliate links should generate some nice income.

How much? Tough question. I'd say between $400 and $600 without any more specific info.

 

4 listings in DMOZ is great, the rankings and PR must be real considering the backlinks, now it depends on the price you are getting it for.

This website sounds intersting, could generate good revenue through adsense, links etc.

I think it is worth atleast 2k considering theres no revenue as of date. I sold a PR5 jokes website with for 3k with simliar stats and generating $100 from adsense plus some from the links sold on website.
