Hi, Back a few years ago I was developing a site and did lots and lots of guest posting. And although most links pointing to it have been PR 0-1 and the vast majority "nofollow", it still managed to make the site climb up to PR 3 pretty fast. I made the guest posts like this: -constantly for 1-2 months, several times a week -only on highly relevant posts -I varied anchor texts, but most often I only used my brand name I couldn't explain myself how I achieved "too good" PR 3 (despite not having acquired any higher PR links, even most of them were "nofollow"). While, other sites for which I bought PR 4-5 links didn't seem to be affected at all! What is your opinion? Does blog posting affect PageRank? Even "nofollow", PR 0 backlinks?
First of all you have to write quality content that helps to get high quality backlinks. Always try to post in 4 to 6 pr guest blogging sites and should be dofollow that will helps to maintaining website ranking.
Hi, guest posting effect are most important for page rank improve if you correct guest comment then you increase a traffic and ranking
Getting backlinks from single type of networks is not a good practice. You should get backlinks from different source like social, article, video, blog, directory, authority sites to change the PR after penguin update.
Guest Posting Affects PageRank, when the content are similar to your link, or relevant to your webpage or link. If your posting irrelevant posting, if will be negative effect on your SERP according to Google new update Penguin
Despite "nofollow" and despite low PR, those links affect PageRank so strongly? I found it wicked, but it did seem to work... The most delicate issue with it is using the anchor text. I used my brand name 80 % of the cases, 10 % keywords, 10 % obscure senseless nicknames or names...
