Guest Blogging Seeing some people don't really understand the idea of Guest blogging thought I'd start a thread with information about guest blogging. What is Guest Blogging? Guest blogging is when you post an article on someone else's blog. You can either ask a blog owner if you can post on their blog or you could be invited to post on a blog. Why Do Guest Blogging? If you take advantage of doing guest blogging then this helps build your reputation beyond the scope of your own website or blog. Usually, when you guest blog you are permitted to include a small author's bio at the end of the article where you can include a description of what you do and a link to your site/blog. The blog owner could also just include as statement that the post was written by a guest blogger. e.g. Guest post by Your Name of Your Website/Blog If you land a regular gig doing guest blogging then the blog owner would probably give you an account on their blog so the post appears under your own name and you might get an author's page if they do that on the blog.
This is great thread. I don't know if DP is ready for guest blogging. I am looking for blogs with a spiritual bent and I have several blogs with pr (2-3) that need posts. I really think there needs to be site that is dedicated to guest blogging. This could be huge. What do you think?
It really is a great opportunity to expose your blog or website to an entirely new group of people. It provides a great opportunity to build a relationship with other bloggers as well.
