Guest Blogging. How to setup thumbnail?

    I have setup an author account for testing, so I can allow guest bloggers to submit
    articles, but how do i set it up so they can upload their related thumbnail for the article?

    In fact, I do not even see any avatar options. How can they upload
    their own avatar/icon?

    ideas?

    I don't know much about uploading thumbnail, but avatars can be created at wordpress gravatar site using their email id... Once they enter the email id their avatar is displayed...

    how would that relate to my site? I would think that would be for those that host their blogs with WP.
    I am self hosted...

    When anyone register on your website for guestposting, they enter the email address. They should have that email registered at http://en.gravatar.com/ and select the gravatar, so that it appears on your site.

    You find many articles on how to create gravatar. Try googling.. It may help.
