Does anyone have any luck with guessing future trends and then buying a domain before it becomes hot? An example would be learning about a film being made and registering something like dark-knight-dvd.com Build links before it gets hot and have a few pages with info and eventually some aff links to buy the DVD when it's released. I see the usual olympics-2087.com rubbish but Do you think in the case of dvd's, no matter what will Amazon always get the top spot?
hehehe, yup everyone rin with the idea. it depends on the trategy of the domainer, some may like doing what you described others may have a completly different strategy, but dont expect many answers from the experts.
