I'll let you in on a little secret - in Australia the top athletes and teams have a little tradition called 'bonus game.' The way it works is every now and then, they throw a game or a series and bet heavily on the opposition to win. Thus winning big $$$ so they can buy a new house / boat / girl / race horse / sports car / etc. If they wanted the Tri Nations Cup again, they would just win it.

I'l choose the All Blacks over Australia any day.. but we needed the Aussies to win for us (SA) to keep the title. didnt turn out that way though
