Hello all, I have a question to everyone that has a website to promote. There are a lot of websites out there that guarantee visitors to your website. I know some of them don't work. My question is do any of them work at all? I'm focusing on advertising right now and do want to spend some money to get my website out there. Any advice? Sari www.CoconutzHomeAndGarden.com p.s. i'm posting the same question on other websites in order to get different responses from other people, so that i can maximize my knowledge regarding this topic. So if you see a similar post on other forums...please don't think i'm spamming. Thanks.
Traffic like that usually comes from pop-ups, pop-unders, autosurf programs etc. or even worse, from bots. Basically they are all useless as far as I know.
It really depends on what campaigns you want to do, buying web traffic does mirror a 'billboard' ad. I recommend that (if possible) that you generate a special ad page for your web traffic campaign (instead of sending them to your websites main page) that may include a super special, an outstanding product or top seller, weekly special or one time offer. Consider a web traffic campaign like a newspaper or billboard ad when you drive by on the highway, you have to get them interested to stay and make that purchase within seconds. What type of traffic that is best for you, is not necessary the same traffic that’s best for all. Example free games sites does well with pop-up / pop-under traffic, but sites with products to sell does it best wit redirected traffic. There is many ways to drive traffic to a website, and there is many "companies" that offers you to send traffic to your site. A few of these companies actually know what they do, and send real visitors to your site. But there is also a lot of crap among the traffic sellers. I recommend looking for a company that gives you some contact information, has a phone number where you can actually talk to a real person. And a operating customer service. At least send an email and ask for help in regards to what type of traffic is best for your needs. If they don’t bother to reply on your email, don’t send any money. For some, buying traffic works like a charm, but for some buying traffic is, to use "GuyFromChicago"`s words, "crap" For anyone wanting to know more about buying traffic, there is some information on my page www.traffic-plus.com And for the rest of this month i will give 20% discount to anybody from DP forum, on all the Traffic-Plus.com products and services. Just ask for the 20% DP discount.
just what I wanted to say! It really depends on what kind of traffic you want to your site! And ofcourse what kind of website you have! good luck with your advertising!
Before I knew any better, I bought into one of those mega-generated traffic plans. Purchased two different ones off of ebay. The plans did what they say, traffic was generated, but it was pure garbage. All the traffic comes from the same IP. Users sign up and get paid to visit all the sites. You earn something like a penny for every 100 sites you visit. However, you are viewing the websites thru the company that has the plan, and the web sites flash on your screen for about 3 to 5 seconds. You web logs will look great as far as the hits and visits. I had thousands in a couple of months, but the referrer in the logs shows the same IP address, and no one who is viewing the websites ever clicks on them. Luckily, I only paid around $7.00 for both plans, and just considered it a cheap learning experience.
Well, sites which gurantee traffic does nothing but let few of their employees sit on the desk asking them to browse through the sites the whole day and thus generating traffic for your site. If you really have good content which will attract the vision of the surfer might click for you.
it all depends on how the visitors are gained. if it is through advertising on great places, it could not hurt even a bit! but if it's like said above, asking people ot just browse your site, then yes, it sucks
I came across this and purchased it - then returned if for a refund. If this is so possible then all the " buy 10,000 hits for $ 99 “ is complete crap. It will help you push your Aleax rankings by 10% but wont give you any more paying customers which is what we are trying to make happen. fakezilla.com Eddie
You are missing the point. The software "fakes hits". If you can buy this software what’s to stop you making a site and saying " yup, we can send you 25,000 visitors in 30 days with log files and your own tracking " I could do that to your site or any other site and charge you for it. Wont get you anymore paying customers - make your log files look good, and with the clever back end on that program you would even know - trust me I didn’t and I ran the test. FROM SITE There are several unique traffic solutions available, but none of them is as sophisticated, complex and feature-rich as FakeZilla.com traffic generators. We have worked on a dozen custom-built "virtual" (or "fake") hits projects before starting to built our own software. All the feedback from our previous clients was the foundation that was used when designing the features for FakeZilla generators. So, what does a unique traffic generator do? FakeZilla.com can help keep your clients advertising on your website while you find other ways to bring more "real" traffic to your website. This is achieved by using a web based interface to route HTTP requests through a list of proxy servers, each with unique IP addresses. In this way, all website hits will appear as unique in the website statistics. It's as simple as that actually. The software does have other purposes (according to the site) but it is this software that makes me wonder about the "buy your hits here " idea. Can you trust a company that does this - you can never really be sure. There is still only one way of doing things: Quality > unique content > regular updates > good copywriting > start again....... I got the point...you didn't mention that you were getting fake traffic in your post. You'll see from my earlier posts that I agree with you - these services, and the "visitors" they bring, are crap. At least that's what I've experienced.
Sure there are a lot of fake traffic out there, thats why it is important to find a real company with, real customer service. There are several traffic sellers that actually deliver good quality traffic. I dont think that we would have 80% returning customers if they wasnt happy with the traffic they got from us. But it is important to find out what type of traffic is sutable for your needs, and if you are dealing with a serious company, then they will be more than happy to assist you with recomending the right traffic for your needs. But to say that all companies that delivers traffic is crap, is simply untrue.
I was curious just to see what you have to offer but you're site is not coming up. Just thought you'd like to know.
Must be all the traffic ronnyb, I'll give you a chance to change my tune. How much for 10,000 visitors? Let's set up a test.
To everyone, Thanks for replying back. That is exactly what i thought. Its just very tempting when you read, especially when traffic is slow and you are trying to generate sales for your website. Again, thank to everyone that has responded. I will look for other ways to advertise. Sari www.CoconutzHomeAndGarden.com
