I ordered the rush service, and I must say I was very impressed. Feel free to use the one you wrote for me as a sample Adi. He gave me no bs answers to my questions, was very quick, professional, and it made my site sound like one of the big boys. He asked me questions about the site, trying to come up with an "angle". He even went to my site and registered to do some field research. In the end it surpassed all of my expectations and I was happy to pay for the service. Definitely one of the best services on DP.
My PR was just published on PRWeb and I was given plenty of compliments on the quality of the PR by one of their representatives.
Here's the link to Fizzleboink's PR at PRweb: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/6/prweb531029.htm I wish you the best of luck getting published by as many news sites and magazines as possible, keep me updated! Adi Friedman Two Believers.
no offense to anyone, but i find this to be a rather mediocre press release that could've been much better. It starts like this: Aspiring individuals join forces at the TeamWealthBuilder.com online community, to help each other live their dream, sharing personal tips on wealth building, investing, and financial freedom. Motivated community members hold hands, in an attempt to find what they believe is the key to the all of their dreams – financial freedom. my comments 1. 'the' needs to be deleted, its wrong grammar. 2. commas in unnecessary places 3. hold hands? this is not a candlelight vigil. converge or join hands would be more appropriate.
ManchesterGuy - without taking into account the rude nature of your comment: 1) I agree, an honest mistake - this usually doesn't get past me, but for some reason it did. 2) I disagree completely. If you know anything about copywriting, and writing for press, you'll understand that sometimes commas serve other purposes than just proper grammar. 3) I don't feel comfortable saying this, but your UK English may be the issue. Although one of the terms you specified (join hands) is indeed more popular for the most part, the term "hold hands" may be used for the purpose of describing the act of joining forces, and helping each other, not just the actual physical act of hand-holding. 4) In the same article you posted as your "sample" in another thread, you missed a space, on several occassions and wrote two words as one. Did you see any DP members visiting your thread, and explaining how "mediocre" your writing skills are, because of those issues? I certainly don't plan to. The fact you found one grammar mistake, and a comma you believe is misplaced is not exactly a reason to state the press release is "rather mediocre". Perhaps being a new content writer here on DP you feel the need to post something like this on someone else's thread. Please respect my request and stop posting unnecessary replies on other members' trading threads. If you're not interested in more information, or purchasing the service offered, and would like to flame a thread instead, you will be reported to the moderators. Adi Friedman Two Believers.
@Ados67 That was a very professional response to criticism. If I didn't write press releases myself, I'd hire you to write mine for me. You could have sent a flame in response, but you replied professionally. Kudos to you!
ados, I must say i'm a bit taken aback by your response. you have obviously misunderstood my intention. my comment wasn't 'rude', it was just that, an off the cuff comment or a critique, if i may. I didn't even realize it was you who wrote that press release, and reading your post I thought that it was written by someone called "Fizzleboink", and that you were referring to someone else's writing. My bad, as I didn't pay more attention to the thread. Finally, I said the press release was mediocre, NOT its author. My article you are referring to was deformed somewhat up by the wysiwig text editor i pasted it from, and was not the result of my own typing. As for my UK english, i won't argue with you over that one. again my humblest apology if i sounded offensive in the least bit. i can see that you are an excellent author and have some great ideas, and I sure hope you can critique my work in the future!
Hi, My apologies if I sounded a little harsh in my response, I took your criticism personally, when I really shouldn't have - I should have realized you didn't meant to detract from my work in my own thread. I wish you the best of luck with your work here on DigitalPoint, and please do let me know if we can work together in the future. articlewriter - thank you for your feedback Sincerely, Adi Friedman Two Believers.
