Guaranteed Paid Inclusion

Looking for crawlable directories or SEs that still do paid inclusion. Not talking about PPC/CPC. I'm talking about a yearly fee to guarantee inclusion within their database.

I know of Y! directory and the Excite paid inclusion programs. Seems that all the others (Looksmart, AltaVista, Ask, etc) that I remember have turned to PPC models.

Are there any remaining Paid Inclusion directories/SEs that still exist today on yearly contracts?

Exactly why would you want to sign up for such a service? Just curious.

    My thoughts exactly.

There are tons of directories that do this. You can find lists of them if you search the DP forums.

As add-on modules to the packages my company sells.

For example, a client wants the Y! dir added on to their SEO package they purchased, which is $299 because their site is 100% commercial (I tried creating non-commercial pages and submitting with no success). They wanted me to manage it, so I charge them a $25.00 mark-up form my less than 1-hour of time.

Now my company wants to know what other similar services are out there.

Just a VAR, if clients buy it fine, if not, I'll still do the same amount of work.

Whew, I thought you were looking for it for yourself.... ok, turn off the alarms and the sirens.... :)

you might try - ineedhits.com. They used to be one of the inktomi search submit partners. They may have something you can offer.

heh - you should have seen the alarms when my boss asked me the first time "So, what other sites have a Yahoo Express". Needless to say, I did some edumacating.

thanks for the lookup, I'll give them a try. I found enhance.com as a good Excite partner.

    Try these: business.com, stpt.com, botw.org, uncoverthenet.com and gimpsy.com.

They all offer yearly inclusions. There are many others.
