GTRides.com - Developed Automotive Site with Unique Content, Traffic & Revenue!

Hi,

The site is www.GTRides.com

Its been online for 2 years...all of the pages are either PR3 or PR4. It's getting close to 400 visits per day and traffic has been pretty steady over the last couple months.

There are exactly 100 pages of hand written content on this site, which I wrote and edited myself.

The site is currently making around $2 per day using YPN - I am sure it could make more with affiliates (or maybe Adsense) but I haven't had the time to do proper testing yet.

I do no advertising for this site, all of the traffic comes from search engines, links and bookmarks/type ins. I do have screenshots if you are interested...

My price is $2300 via Escrow or Paypal. I am basing this more on the custom content and revenue potential of this website as opposed to current revenue levels.

Not to criticize, but sites generally sell at about 10-12 months revenue.

$2 a day - $60 a month --- so this site should sell for around $500 - $600

What makes this site worth 4 times that of a normal site?

Even the 100 pages of custom content you mention could be had for about $800 from most article writers....

 

$300 is my BID.

 

Some sites have unique content, design, potential and the price might be higher then 12x revenue. If you see potential why not pay more money..

 

I know exactly what sites usually sell for. This is not a Myspace site, or Arcade site, its a custom written and designed site with 2 years of history. As I said, I am positive there is room for improvement in future revenues, and I already have offers well above $1000.

I do not need to sell this site, but if I get a good offer I will complete a sale.

Thanks for that awesome advice. This coming from someone who PM'ed me begging to accept his $300 offer. I don't much care for South America anyways, maybe I'll go there for a vacation in a year or so, but I wouldn't want to live there. I've sold probably around 50 sites over the last couple years, so I think I have a pretty good idea of how to value them. As I said, this is not one of those crappy cloned sites - its got real content and real traffic and real potential. I am not unloading this site for peanuts - if someone gives me an offer I like I will sell...

As for Adsense revenue...that post was months ago. I had a site making $1 per day on Adsense a few months ago, and its now up to $5 per day with basically the same traffic. I'd probably recommend keeping YPN on the site, but someone with different ad strategies could certainly make Adsense work better than I.

Any case I personally like the site, and the fact that it has some age to it.
