GTA online

You know what i want to see?

I want to see a version of GTA san andreas at least as a multiplayer on line game. Something like second life but with alot of destruction and missions and all kind of stuff. what do you think?

 

It would be great if they did that but personally I can't see it happening.
Aren't Grand Theft Auto games designed to be played as single players?

 

Yes they are, but still.... think about the possibilities....

 

It's a nice concept but I don't think it will work if done as a multiplayer online game.

I agree with you.
Just imagine. You are just driving and then someone takes you out of the car and shots 3 times on you. One head, two heart and three ..

 

I think there was a Mod for GTA III for online play (PC version only). I'm not sure how well it worked, but I'm sure there were plenty of bugs since it was a user mod. It would be difficult to create a multiplayer GTA world that wouldn't be total chaos. They would have to decrease the health damage, otherwise the average player would last about 10 seconds. Everyone would just be spraying everyone else with gunfire. I guess that would be realistic if it were named Grand Theft Auto: Newark, New Jersey.

well, if they could modify the health.... that will definately change the picture. and imagine the police, fbi and army chasing down 100 people in the same time.... wow that will be crazy

I think somewhere down the road they will make an online game of GTA.
I think it will be really cool, stealing cars and beating up each other.

 

I think its a great idea, Dont the do that with the game The Sims.. Think that is online now

 

There is a mod that allows you to play multiplayer online (PC) in GTA 3.

 

It'd be awesome if such a thing actually happened. I doubt it ever will though.

 

Theres been a mod in the works since Gta 3, Which currently has working online play for the PC version Of Gta 3, Vc And Sa (I Used To Be In The Gta scene Lol). Its pretty polished although its mostly only racing.

I use SAMP to play GTA San Andreas online. It's a mod. But I would like to see it come out on the consoles.
