    that is a very good question. In my opinion, no seo tools are safe to use, in fact,
    i am sure you can find something in google's TOS about using automation; With that being
    said google simply cant catch everything, and it may be helpful to some degree.

    1: Use GSA in moderation. Do not draw attention to yourself by being
    greedy by pushing 1000's and 1000's of links out in a day.....

    2: Never use on your money sites. Simply use Tier 2&3 sites that link
    back to your money site; If effective, then your money site will get a boost....

    other then that, if anyone knows for sure.
