But apparently it is ok to use adwords to advertise link sales...
G is ok with it as long as they get a cut...

In fact, they allow almost anything. I guess the bottom line is "who's making money". - a cold fact.

G can do anything as long as something is coming to them. ;)

With the increasing number of MFA sites everyday, I don't think they really care for the kind of ads they are having in Adsense.

Like the Mafia, we can all stay in business as long as we give a cut to the Don, if we dont he attaches concrete shoes to our directories and watches us sink. ;)

It would be non-sense for Google to ban such ads from AdWords, since Search and Adwords have different perspectives.

The bottom line is that Google is a publicly traded corporation (NASDAQ = GOOG). As such, their obligation is to use legal means to maximize profits for the shareholders. They can realistically do anything within the law that is in the best interests of Google, which may or may not be in the best interests of us webmasters.

It was a no-brainer that G wanted a cut. G-ads aren't good for me, so why should I have it on my site. Some site have reported a very good income from it, but I just don't see it on any of my site.

Of course, if you guys think that they are in this to make the world a better place, you are cruelly mistaken. Money is everything.
