Now down to 6 cents per click on my best ad location, and 4 cents on my poorer slots. Last month my good location did 25 cents, poorer ones 10 cents a time. And yes, I do have nothing but unique, relevant content on my site, and it's not changed in any significant way in the last month. Is it worthwhile asking Google to look at my site? I only do around 1000 uniques per day, so will they even bother to reply with anything more than a form email?
Yea, I finally figured out what's hurting me. Most of my sites are auto related. Sales are down and so is the ad budget. so I'm pacing a little more than $200 this month where normally I'm around a grand. SUCKS
Hmm, I suppose it might be a trend. I'm in the Japan niche, but perhaps there is little content there and I'm getting more generic ads; a quick look at the AdSense preview tool on my most popular search page shows pretty poor-looking ads. However, without having access to any means of diagnosing how Google selects ads, it's difficult to say what's wrong. Have I got a quality penalty? Has Google decided that I have changed niches? Have I got negative terms on my pages? Is Google just broken? I've been on $4-$5 per day for the last six months, now I'm on $2-$3, even though traffic is the same as ever.
I have been in the adsense program for a year now and my peak months was april-august earning around 40-50 a day now i only get around $9-12. I hope it goes strong again during the start of the new year.
me too, my earning turning low,its been a month now. i dont know whats wrong. compare to last month when my sites still new and didnt have pr yet, its earn quite good. but now with pr3, its earning drops.
Did you tweak the keywords and update the ads to fresh ones? Sometimes just changing the code can help but it could be a big advertising stopped his campaign or it is a slower month for you site. Number of factors play into it. Has the eCPM dropped significantly?
