Lets give him a chance, hopefully he won't let people down. Changing servers may take time if he's working to a tight budget and encountering issues. I may be wrong, but I hope I'm not and we can trust him as I'm interested from publisher and advertiser pov..

Not to be rude, but didn't you expect to get a sharp increase of traffic because you recruit webmasters everywhere, sounds to me like a brilliant bussiness plan, hosting a ad network on a shared hosting account. Really brilliant.

    just my 2cents.

    Dear all,

    Further update:

The new server is ready and website files have been uploaded, we're currently in the process of migrating the databases over from the old server to the new one.

Apologies for not updating this forum sooner, I had been updating our twitter account (twitter.com/growthr) as well as keeping the main 'down for maintenance' page up to date.

Nerv - your right it shouldn't take so long but unfortuneately the hosting market is plagued with unreliable, overpriced or slow providers, it was my responsibility to find a new provider and I wanted to make sure I found the best server suited to hosting Growthr, it took me a bit of time investigating on this front. This then meant the server was purchased late on a Saturday evening so naturally it took our new provider some time to set up the server, since they are a popular provider our order was placed in a queue.

Antpeks - downtime was going to happen sooner or later. Growthr was not in a position from the word 'go' to purchase expensive servers so at some point we were going to have to upgrade, now that we have solid interest in Growthr we have received enough investment to go ahead and purchase faster servers to start providing a much better, faster service.

I anticipate having the site back online and fully functional again within the next couple of hours however, with the relaunch we will be ammending our rates.

The new rates mean a greater % payout to you guys - we'll be paying out 70% to you as publishers, however to better position ourselves for entry in to the market we're going to have to reduce our charge rates to advertisers for the time being.

It is expected our new rates will be:

    PPC
$0.20 charge to advertisers per click
    $0.14 payout to publishers

    CPM
    $0.50 charge to advertisers
    $0.35 cent payout to publishers

We will be abolishing the pre-approval rates, Growthr banners will display pre-approval but at present you will not receive any revenue for clicks or views of these banners.

However, any earnings you have made under the pre-approval rates will be kept.
If you wish to discontinue use of Growthr because of these changes you are free to do so, we will honour the earnings you have already made and pay these out to you (even if they do not breach the $25 minimum payment threshhold) - if this is the case please drop me an email as soon as possible so I can arrange the payout of your funds with our next batch of payments on 25/02/2011 - you won't be able to do this yourself via the website.

With these changes we are better positioned to seek more advertisers, giving you greater fill rates, faster service and unleashing the revenue potential behind your websites and blogs. Helping you Grow as we Grow.

I'd like to offer further apologies for any inconveniance caused by the unscheduled downtime and thank you all for your continued patience and interest.

    Kind Regards,
    Blair Harper

selfcontrol, those will be our rates in future once we have efficient geo-targetting & quality traffic in place - as explained above we have lowered our rates to introductory rates allowing us to ease in to the market.

    Sorry Dreambox,

But any ad network that cannot afford a dedicated server, is not taking himself serious, maybe you should inform yourself on the prices of Dedicated servers. WE run a couple of them and they are quite powerful and affordable at the same time. for 200 € a month you would have a beast of a server. And to make it even cheaper for you. You could divide your hosting in two, where one is taking care of the webserving and one or more (scalability) is doing the database serving.

We run our own 'ad network' (not open for the public) for our adult sites and serving around a 100 million ads each month for a 200 Dollar server, never experienced any delays in ad serving so don't tell any thing about the funds. It just means i do not want to invest, and want to make on a cheap way money. To start a company it cost money before you earn. and a cost for server hosting can be deducted from your taxes !!!

    Just my humble 2 cents....

#selfcontrol: and also nothing about running a company or dedicated servers. LOL

Antpeks perhaps you misunderstood my post. Growthr is now running on 3 dedicated servers. Growthr is still in Beta and we hoped to be able to complete testing on shared hosting; due to problems with our shared hosting provider this has been revoked.

Nerv, we've experienced some problems during migration - working on a fix at the moment.

Vontage, currently we do not have a high enough advertiser volume to approve any more sites

akkhakin, we are currently accepting all publishers, however approval is taking several days. You can still display ads in the meantime but only the Growthr banner will show.

The activation page returned a fatal error :
Also please tell me how much is the average CPM price for Asian traffic ?
I have several websites with high traffic from asia , This network gets more than 10K UV a day , How can you guarantee the payment ?

    Hi Amirk,

I've fixed this now and activated your account manually.

Payment is made via PayPal on the 25th of the month after payout is requested.
