Growing The Ad Network

    It's in everyone's best interest to grow the network, and I had an idea that I think might help expand the ad network.

    I get 10-20 of those link exchange requests emails per day, and was thinking of just automatically replying back to them and pointing them to the ad network. Might be something to try for others too (and a way to earn some referral bonuses). :)

    Yeah, this is the approach that I am taking right now. In fact, I will only give a link back in most cases only if they join the network under me. So, I have picked up 5 or so referrals in the past 4 weeks.

    I've been trying a few similiar things myself too.

    Out of interest, how quickly is the network growing?

    How many sites are involved with it now?

    What does the total weight site at.

    I think it was about 6,000,000 a couple of weeks ago...

    Has it grown much?

    I get tons of those link requests too, I like your idea of sending them info on the coop network. I'm going to drop a link in the header of my forum too…that may help get another couple people every here and there.

    Any chance of giving the number of sites involved to put on my links page - the more sites that are involved the more likely I think people will look at it to sign up.

    I recently signed up and my id number was 16XX, and they increment, so I guess take out a few non used/deleted accounts and you're looking at over 1000 coop add accounts/sites....But then IIRC Shawn already admitted to there being over a 1000 so I don't know if it helps...

    Good idea. How about using Arelis to get e-mails for sites linking to us and our competitors and send them e-mail with the link to Coop Ad Network ?
