Grouping multiple channels

I noticed recently that you can assign multiple channels to an ad unit. Since i'm so lazy and I don't want to create 150 channels to monitor each page of my site, I wonder if you can do something like this :

Create different channels for size : Leaderboard, Skyscraper, Square
Create different channels for url color : Green, Red, Blue
Create different channels for pages : Page A, page B, page C.

Then you add your code per page based on that, so for example you might have 2 ads units rotating on page A with channels :
    - Leaderboard+Green+Page A
    - Leaderboard+Red+Page A

Seems ideal but I'm not sure how it would appear in adsense reports, and if I would be able to ask him, for example, performance for ads with channels Leaderboard+Green+Page A vs ads with channels Leaderboard+Red+Page A.

Did anybody try to monitor their site like that and had good reports from adsense website ?

you can setup multiple channles of the same site/page. for example: i have site where i put a top banner with one channel, link unit with one channel, and sidebar with another channel. that way i can keep track which one of the ads perfomring well.

the way i keep track of all the channels for the same site is but naming the channels associating with the site name. for example, if i have a site on cars, then i will name the channels as car-topbanner, car-linkunit, car-sidebar, etc. so when u look at the report, you can easily find out the performance by channel

    Of Course you can.
This helps to track each individual ad unit.
