Group Auto Changed

    I am using PHPBB3 portal here: www.aec.soweic.com.
    My problem is every time I login, my admin account seems to change group to Student, which I created for students. I also tested with another sign in, and it all auto transfer to Student group, too.

    Am I missing anything?

    Well it seems like you have "Auto Groups" Mod Installed.This is still a bug on the above mentioned addon/mod. The workaround is to make sure once you login to the admin panel, you need to set Administrator as your default group.

    Look like you are right. Do you think this is possible:

    I defined a custom field 'Student ID' and a group 'Student'. How can I use Auto Groups to add the registrars with student id to 'Student' group?

    I meant, if the registrars enter the id in 'Student ID' custom field, they will be automatically added to 'Student' group. If not, they are just registered users.

    This mod is very handy for all school forums.

    PS: Right now I am using it here http://aec.soweic.com/ and there is a problem: All new registers once log in seem to change group to 'Student' automatically either with student id or not.

    If the Auto Group mod can't be done, do you know any other way?
