I just got back from visiting New York this weekend. I went to ground zero, and it was one of the most humbling, grievous, spiritual, and eye-opening experiences I've ever had. Nothing has ever filled me with more sadness and anger so quickly and lasted so long before. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/mattholt/sets/72157600044051393/ if you want photo documentation and my thoughts. Please read them respectively.) Maybe AGS and Gworld should take a day off and visit it sometime - and maybe you'll even rethink some of your sick ideas regarding that place.
you know what a lot of new yorkers hate? tourists running around snapping vacation pics of ground zero my friends who work next to ground zero, where just visiting and they were talking about the tourists there, "look here is me at ground zero, let me buy a shirt"
And I too was disgusted by commercial vendors and those taking pictures without lack of respect for the events there as well. I simply ignored it.
They got like stands and vendors down there, its crazy yeah one works at the oldest law firm in NY the other at a newspaper there educated affluent urban people, yup those are my kind of people
I know that but maybe you should re-read your post, it looked like a dig at the thread starter to me...
