I have a site that is about 3 months old, well indexed yet the toolbar PR is still greyed out.

    Any ideas?

The next PR is predicted on March 2008. You have to wait for Google to update its PR before you start seeing green light. Any way, it is best to build up your inbound links. SEO is a waiting game, you're in it then bear with it.

    So true.

Get more sites linking to you, the higher their PR the better.

I realise that, but I've had much newer sites go white toolbar much quicker. Not a big deal, was just wondering.

that really depend on when the site was launched, how many PR backlinks you had, and when google updated its PR. last PR update was in Nov when your site was too new to assign a PR. you wil get PR on the next update
